NewFrolic | Day 1/365 | Ease Into It. What Allignment Feels Like
And then the glass clinking stopped. In those few seconds of silence I knew that my journey only just begun!
But let’s start from day one! Ease into it, because no great explorations ever started in the safe zone, or through sprints. They take time to unfold, dream, discover and learn. At least that’s the plan as I write here today, July 11th, 2022.
What started over a year ago, this project about allignment and blending brands, wine and stories, caught fire just three months and a half ago. How?
Serendipity. Or, better said practice met opportunity. And I took a chance. I became a wine storyteller for Desprevin Media. And then it all fell into place.
No kidding! As much as we search for it, or try to create it out of thin air, allignment just… clicks! How should I describe this? Hmmm…
Imagine you’re having the most brutal day, full taskload at the office, rush hour on the streets, the elevator doesn’t run, you spill coffee over your laptop… all the things! The dread is real.
Until you come home. You turn the key into the door, press the handle and come in. Take your shoes off, let the backpack slide on the floor and rush to the shower to rinse the day away.
You come out, put on your comfy loungewear and go into the kitchen. Hair pulled up into a messy bun and you pour yourself a glass of wine.
That’s what allignment feels. At peace. All things are where they should be, and time is all yours. Choice is all yours.
Of course there will be other hectic days. Of course you’ll want to scream of frustration. Of course it will get heavy. But when you see a clear path in front of you, all the crappy details are just part of the journey. You grow through them. You’re home. You explore it all.
Allignment is not forced. Believe me, I tried! For many, many years I thought that what I was supposed to do had to be complex, planned, prepared. Neah!
The best things come naturally. They flow. Each allignment is personal. This is just a year-long documentation of exploring that path that showed up. It matched skill, passion and lifestyle.
A year of branding, wine & storytelling.
Let’s ease into it and see where the year may lead. This was NewFrolic Day 1/365.
Cheers! See you tomorrow!
